During January 2026, Tunplace focused on expanding internationalization in the gristlabs/grist-core repository by delivering Thai language support for the server UI. Leveraging front end development skills and working primarily with JSON, Tunplace integrated Thai translations using Weblate, covering 63.6% of server-side strings and initiating client-side localization. This work established a translation workflow and documented progress to facilitate ongoing localization efforts. By enabling Thai-speaking users to access the core UI in their native language, Tunplace addressed accessibility and inclusivity, laying the foundation for broader client-side translation and future quality assurance integration, though the depth of client localization remained limited.
