Contributed to the Screwloose-Games/solar-punk-jam project by expanding and modernizing the 3D environment asset library over a two-month period. Focused on asset integration and management, this work included creating new solar panel, compost bin, and vertical garden assets, standardizing GLTF asset naming, and refreshing legacy models with updated textures. Leveraging skills in 3D modeling, texture mapping, and game development, the developer delivered end-to-end asset pipeline updates using GDScript and GLSL. These improvements streamlined asset delivery, reduced load-time errors, and enhanced visual fidelity, supporting a more consistent art direction and simplifying future maintenance across the project’s core environments.
May 2025: Delivered visual asset refreshes for Screwloose-Games/solar-punk-jam, enhancing consistency and art quality across core environments. Implemented Compost Bin Asset Refresh and Vertical Garden Asset Update, replacing legacy 3D models with GLTF assets and new textures. These updates align with the project’s art direction and asset pipeline, enabling higher fidelity visuals with minimal runtime overhead. The work supports immersive aesthetics and reduces future maintenance by standardizing asset formats and textures.

April 2025 monthly update for Screwloose-Games/solar-punk-jam: Implemented asset library expansion with new 3D environment assets (solar panel, compost bin, vertical garden) and standardized GLTF asset naming to prevent loading issues. Completed end-to-end asset delivery, including the final solar panel mesh, animation, and textures, and introduced naming fixes for the vertical garden to improve runtime reliability across scenes. These changes streamline asset management, reduce load-time errors, and accelerate iteration cycles for art and level design.
