Worked on stabilizing EAF integration within the NixOS/nixpkgs repository by addressing packaging and dependency management challenges using Nix and system administration skills. Focused on hardening the EAF package to eliminate runtime errors caused by missing or mislocated external executables, leveraging Nix’s getExe to reliably reference tools such as aria2, fd, delta, and ripgrep. Ensured that EAF consistently locates and utilizes wmctrl and xdotool, preventing environment-specific failures. This work improved build reproducibility and runtime stability for emacsPackages.eaf-*, reducing manual intervention and enhancing deployment reliability across diverse environments. The contributions centered on robust package management and automation.
