Worked on improving localization quality in the dainst/idai-field repository by addressing inconsistencies in French UI translations. Focused on internationalization, the developer identified and corrected the translation of the term 'Pfad' (path), updating it to the standard French 'Chemin' to ensure accuracy and consistency across language packs. The work involved managing XML language files and applying best practices in language quality assurance, resulting in a more reliable and user-friendly interface for French-speaking users. This contribution demonstrated attention to detail in internationalization and language-file management, with a traceable, release-ready change that enhanced the overall localization reliability of the project.
