Worked on stabilizing the message reaction flow in the pedroslopez/whatsapp-web.js repository by addressing a crash related to WhatsApp Web API changes. Focused on fixing a TypeError that occurred when reacting to messages, updating the WAWebSendReactionMsgAction to utilize the new sendReactionToMsg method. Refactored the react method to improve readability, maintainability, and testability, simplifying the control flow and aligning with updated API structures. Updated Message.js to ensure consistent reaction handling and reduce user-facing crashes. Demonstrated strong skills in JavaScript, async/await, and modular API usage, contributing to improved reliability and downstream integration stability in front end development.
