Worked on the wandb/terraform-aws-wandb repository to deliver two core features over two months, focusing on infrastructure upgrades and deployment reliability. Upgraded the EKS cluster to version 1.30 by updating Terraform configurations, variable definitions, and documentation, ensuring alignment with AWS support and improved maintainability. Enhanced security and deployment processes by updating KMS key policies to support re-encryption operations and refining release tooling for more reliable, traceable releases. Leveraged AWS, Terraform, and HCL to implement these changes, emphasizing configuration consistency, governance, and automation. The work addressed future readiness and operational efficiency without introducing bug fixes during this period.
