Thomas Mol enhanced the better-auth/better-auth repository by improving its OpenAPI specification, focusing on the addition of operationId fields across API routes. This work aimed to increase the clarity of API documentation and ensure more reliable client SDK code generation. Collaborating with other contributors, Thomas aligned the OpenAPI spec with tooling expectations, addressing gaps that previously hindered automated client generation and API discoverability. The implementation was completed using TypeScript and leveraged expertise in API development and OpenAPI Specification. While the contribution was limited to a single feature over one month, it addressed a targeted documentation and tooling integration challenge.
