During September 2025, Taehyun Kim focused on simplifying the development environment for the sparcs-kaist/taxi-back repository by removing Docker Compose and local MongoDB Dockerization. This work involved deleting docker-compose.yml and docker-compose.yaml files, marking a shift away from Docker Compose for local development in favor of a more maintainable workflow. Using Docker as the primary technology, Taehyun aimed to reduce local setup time and minimize environmental drift, thereby improving onboarding and deployment consistency. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary focus was on enhancing the production-readiness and maintainability of the backend development workflow.
