
During April 2025, Ti1058ru-s contributed to the LDMX-Software/ldmx-sw repository by implementing configurable input pass naming in the pfTrackProducer module, enhancing the traceability of data processing stages within pfReco.py. Using C++ and Python, Ti1058ru-s also addressed a bug in the HcalRecHit component by refining the energy-weighted position calculation to use individual hit energies and improving the logic for side Hcal bar positioning. These changes increased the robustness and maintainability of RecHit distributions across processing passes. The work demonstrated a solid grasp of physics simulation, software configuration, and software engineering principles within a complex scientific codebase.
