Developed and delivered the MCP Server Enrichment Analysis feature within the punkpeye/awesome-mcp-servers repository, enabling gene set enrichment analysis directly in the MCP server workflow. This work centered on integrating the Enrichr API, allowing researchers to perform enrichment analyses without leaving the platform and streamlining research throughput. The implementation focused on robust API integration and server-side development, with concise, well-documented commits that minimized risk and surface area. Utilizing skills in API integration, gene analysis, and server development, the feature expanded the platform’s analytics capabilities and reduced context switching for users, though no major bugs were addressed during this period.
