Worked on the ansys/aali-sharedtypes repository to enhance configurability for future chat integration by introducing a new configuration field enabling specification of a chat service address. Used Go for backend development, focusing on release discipline and production reliability. Implemented a rollback mechanism by explicitly reverting the chat address configuration, ensuring that exploratory changes could be safely tested without impacting stability. This approach demonstrated careful change management and a commitment to minimizing production risk while iterating on new features. The work balanced the need for forward-looking integration capabilities with the practical requirements of maintaining a stable and reliable backend service.
