Developed and delivered the Salesforce Data Dictionary Generator feature for the hardisgroupcom/sfdx-hardis repository, enabling automated extraction of live Salesforce metadata into a structured, multi-sheet Excel workbook. Leveraging TypeScript, ExcelJS, and the Salesforce Metadata API, the solution reads org data via the describe API and outputs detailed object documentation, including validation rules and record types, with enhanced formatting and in-workbook navigation. Customization options such as object filtering and forced-text columns were added to improve data fidelity and usability. The work also included improvements to export utilities and CI quality, supporting better data governance and streamlined documentation for Salesforce admins.
