Worked on the cilium/tetragon repository to enhance deployment flexibility by introducing a user-configurable affinity override for the rthooks DaemonSet within the Helm chart. This feature allowed operators to specify a dedicated affinity in values.yaml, while maintaining backward compatibility by defaulting to the top-level affinity setting if unset. The implementation focused on minimizing operational risk and ensuring consistent behavior across upgrades. Leveraged skills in DevOps, Helm, and Kubernetes, with changes primarily written in Go and YAML. No major bug fixes were recorded during this period, as the primary focus was on expanding configuration options and improving chart maintainability for users.
