During this period, work focused on developing an automated mobile security testing capability within the bitrise-io/bitrise-steplib repository. The contribution introduced a new scan-with-appsweep step, enabling continuous integration pipelines to automatically scan Android and iOS applications for security vulnerabilities using AppSweep. This feature was implemented through YAML configuration and integrated seamlessly into existing CI/CD workflows, allowing teams to receive earlier feedback on potential security issues. The process included end-to-end validation and comprehensive documentation to support reliable adoption. Skills demonstrated encompassed DevOps practices, mobile security testing, and secure coding, with an emphasis on automation and maintainability in the release process.
