During June 2025, Schlorpian enhanced the SlimeVR/SlimeVR-Server repository by implementing Norwegian Bokmål localization updates for the GUI, addressing accessibility for Norwegian-speaking users. The work focused on translating interface elements such as websocket status, update notifications, tips, and various menu items, using the INI language format and following the Pontoon localization workflow to ensure maintainability and consistency. Schlorpian’s efforts filled key translation gaps, reducing user confusion and laying groundwork for future internationalization. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the depth of the localization work improved the user experience and established a scalable process for ongoing language support.
