Worked on the netbox-community/netbox-chart repository to deliver a feature enhancement that introduced timezone support for the housekeeping cronjob configuration. This addition allowed scheduled maintenance tasks to run according to the user’s local time, addressing the needs of multinational deployments and minimizing manual time-zone adjustments. The solution was implemented as a configurable Helm chart value, ensuring backward compatibility and preserving a configuration-driven deployment model. Leveraging skills in DevOps, Kubernetes, and YAML, the developer managed the full lifecycle from design through code review and merge, resulting in improved reliability and user experience for global teams managing distributed NetBox installations.
