Worked on the LunarG/gfxreconstruct repository to enhance the Vulkan Replay Dump Output by addressing a bug that previously omitted the BCB index from transfer file outputs. Using C++ and leveraging the Vulkan API, the developer delivered a targeted fix that ensures both output filenames and JSON transfer metadata now consistently include the BCB index, improving resource traceability and debugging clarity for users analyzing replay dumps. The update was implemented in a single, well-documented commit and included adjustments to the software testing suite to maintain coverage, reflecting a focused and efficient approach to maintaining code quality and user-facing reliability.
