Improved performance for the common UTF-8 path while maintaining full support for non-UTF-8 content. Fixed a critical UTF-16 saving bug to ensure correct encoding round-trips and refined encoding analysis to reduce data loss on legacy files. This work reduces user friction with legacy data and broadens compatibility for international content, delivering measurable reliability and safety gains in file I/O."
