During April 2025, contributed to the rust-lang/compiler-builtins repository by implementing AVR-specific support for unsigned division and modulo operations on 8-bit and 16-bit integers. This feature was developed using naked assembly to interface directly with AVR registers, enabling efficient arithmetic tailored for embedded AVR targets. The work focused on low-level optimization and cross-architecture code generation, resulting in improved runtime performance and reduced code size for unsigned arithmetic on AVR microcontrollers. Demonstrated expertise in assembly language, embedded systems, and compiler development, with clear documentation and traceable commits that enhanced the reliability and maintainability of AVR code generation within the project.
