Worked on the open-webui/open-webui repository to enhance localization quality in the i18n layer, focusing on improving Spanish relative time translation formatting. Addressed a critical bug by refining the JSON translation files, which improved the readability and correctness of time labels for Spanish-speaking users. The solution maintained compatibility with existing translation schemas and integrated smoothly with established QA processes, ensuring no disruption to downstream features. Demonstrated expertise in front end development, i18n, and localization by delivering a targeted fix that reduced localization errors and improved user experience, all while preserving the integrity of the broader translation infrastructure and workflow.
