During April 2025, Lizongying focused on maintaining package stability in the lizongying/homebrew-cask repository by reverting an unstable update to the Standard Notes application. Using Ruby and leveraging expertise in Homebrew and package management, Lizongying restored version 3.195.13 and updated the SHA256 checksums for both ARM and Intel casks. This approach ensured the integrity of installations and preserved compatibility with existing Homebrew workflows for macOS users. By prioritizing stability over new feature development, Lizongying minimized user disruption and reduced support overhead, demonstrating a careful, detail-oriented approach to open source package maintenance within the Homebrew ecosystem.
