Worked on the community-scripts/ProxmoxVE repository to enhance the security and reliability of the Dawarich installation and update workflow. Focused on environment configuration and scripting using Bash, the work introduced environment-variable driven security measures, including secure generation and derivation of OTP encryption keys. This approach improved the protection of sensitive data during both onboarding and ongoing maintenance. The installation process was updated to enforce secure defaults and ensure consistent provisioning steps across different environments. By integrating security best practices into the install scripts and environment scaffolding, the changes established a repeatable, secure baseline for future deployments and maintenance activities.
