December 2025 monthly summary: Delivered an ad-free viewing feature for the SBS On Demand TV app in the ReVanced/revanced-patches repo, removing pre-roll, pause, and on-demand ads. Implemented fingerprint-based visibility controls and updated ad request handling to ensure seamless playback during ad-free periods. The Remove ads patch (#6378) was committed as 315931cbf8f61cd4b3a54ace1ff03685d748614c, with co-authors Trespyian and oSumAtrIX. This work delivers clear business value by improving user experience, reducing ad-related playback interruptions, and enabling potential monetization/test opportunities, while showcasing end-to-end patch development and cross-team collaboration.
