During September 2024, True Gameover developed a new feature for the bitnami/charts repository, introducing custom NGINX stream server blocks with UDP support. This work involved extending Helm chart templates and YAML configurations to allow users to define UDP-based services within Kubernetes deployments, addressing the need for greater flexibility in handling non-HTTP workloads. By integrating NGINX configuration customization with DevOps practices, True Gameover enabled seamless deployment of UDP services, expanding the range of supported workloads. The implementation demonstrated proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, and NGINX, and provided a robust solution for teams requiring UDP support without modifying core application logic.
