During October 2025, Tsafaras contributed to the open-webui/open-webui repository by enhancing localization support for Greek-speaking users. Focusing on front end development and leveraging JSON for translation management, Tsafaras expanded Greek translations across core UI strings to improve accessibility and user experience for the Greek locale. The work addressed internationalization requirements by systematically identifying untranslated interface elements and providing accurate Greek equivalents, ensuring consistency throughout the application. While the contribution was limited to a single feature over one month, it demonstrated attention to detail in i18n and localization practices, supporting the project’s broader goal of serving a diverse, multilingual user base.
