Developed a foundational data processing module for travel path analytics in the KU-BIG/KUBIG_2024_FALL repository, focusing on preparing consumer activity and GPS data for regional analysis. The work involved building a Python module that loads and processes CSV datasets, applies geospatial filtering to isolate records from Gurye County and Gangneung City, and structures the output for seamless integration with visualization tools. Leveraging Pandas for data manipulation and preparing for Folium-based visualization, the module established a robust pipeline for future dashboard development. This approach laid the groundwork for extracting actionable travel insights and supporting more detailed user behavior analysis.
