During January 2026, contributed to the lima-vm/lima repository by delivering two targeted features aimed at improving build automation and developer experience. Focused on backend development using Go and Makefile scripting, the work included streamlining the build process by removing unnecessary print statements from the Makefile, which reduced log noise and facilitated faster log triage. Additionally, enhanced shell usability by suppressing the READY. Run... startup message, resulting in quieter shell initialization and smoother onboarding for new contributors. All changes adhered to strong commit hygiene practices, including Signed-off-by lines, ensuring traceability and maintaining high standards of code quality throughout.
