During November 2025, Xed-Editor contributor tvwett12 focused on advancing Ukrainian localization within the Xed-Editor/Xed-Editor repository. They translated 29.4% of the user interface strings, laying the groundwork for broader accessibility for Ukrainian-speaking users. Using XML for translation files and leveraging the Weblate platform, tvwett12 established a sustainable workflow to streamline ongoing localization efforts. Their work did not address bug fixes but concentrated on process automation and UI/UX design to support future translation completion. This foundational effort improved the product’s inclusivity and positioned the project to better serve a key demographic through enhanced language support and maintainable localization practices.
