Over a two-month period, contributed to open source projects by focusing on both documentation quality and build system enhancements. In the slowkow/quarto-web repository, improved documentation clarity by correcting grammar, which enhanced readability and streamlined onboarding for new contributors. Later, in emscripten-forge/recipes, developed a WebAssembly build recipe for the simplejson Python package, targeting the emscripten-wasm32 platform. This involved creating a recipe.yaml file, a build script, and a basic test to validate the workflow, using Python, YAML, and shell scripting. The work supported reproducible builds and expanded the packaging capabilities for Python libraries in client-side environments.
