Worked on the AliceO2Group/O2Physics repository to enhance data analysis capabilities by implementing a ZDC Spectator Plane Q-vector Centroid Producer. This involved renaming the ZDCInterCalibTask to ZdcExtraTableProducer and updating its functionality to calculate and store ZDC Q-vectors (centroids) alongside existing ZDC data. The approach improved the measurement and accessibility of spectator plane information for downstream physics simulations. Using C++ and CMake, the changes focused on maintainability and naming consistency across ZDC-related code paths, reducing future refactor risk. The work emphasized traceability and auditability, supporting more robust and accessible data for physics analysis workflows.
