Worked on improving the reliability of the context menu overlay in the iced_aw repository, focusing on addressing misalignment and incorrect positioning issues relative to the trigger element. Updated the layout and positioning logic using Rust to ensure that the context menu consistently aligns with its trigger across various layouts, resolutions, and DPI settings. This fix enhanced user experience by reducing confusion and improving accessibility, while also lowering the risk of UI-related support tickets in production. Emphasized maintainability and testability in the solution, applying skills in GUI development and widget design to deliver a targeted, robust improvement without introducing new features.
