Worked on the coralogix/telemetry-shippers repository to expand deployment scenarios by implementing IPv6 support for the eBPF profiler within the OpenTelemetry integration. This involved updating Helm charts and YAML value files to ensure agent and collector telemetry metrics could be reliably transmitted over IPv6 networks. Leveraging skills in Kubernetes, Helm, and networking, the developer adjusted network configurations to validate profiler functionality in IPv6-only environments. The changes addressed the need for flexible deployment in modern cloud infrastructures, enabling the profiler to operate seamlessly in clusters where IPv6 is required. No bugs were fixed during this period, with work focused on new feature development.
