Worked on the Talend/component-runtime repository to streamline the build and release pipeline by removing the Bill of Materials (BOM) module and associated Jenkins configurations. This effort focused on simplifying build automation and CI/CD processes, reducing the complexity and maintenance overhead of release cycles. By eliminating BOM-related steps, the developer improved dependency management and enhanced the reproducibility of builds, making releases more predictable. The work was implemented using Java, Shell scripting, Maven, and Jenkins, with careful attention to documentation and traceability requirements. These changes contributed to a more maintainable pipeline and addressed operational challenges in the project’s release workflow.
