During June 2025, Uche Ngwudike modernized the build system for the DataBiosphere/terra-landing-zone-service repository by integrating Google Artifact Registry for dependency resolution. He replaced internal JFrog sources with Google Artifact Registry URLs, ensuring that Gradle and Maven dependencies are now fetched directly from cloud-native sources. This update, implemented using Groovy and Gradle build configuration skills, improved build reliability and streamlined alignment with Google Cloud tooling. The work was consolidated into a single commit, reflecting a focused and well-scoped engineering effort. While the contribution addressed only one feature, it delivered clear business value by reducing reliance on internal infrastructure.
