Developed and delivered the Biblatex Seasonal Date Parsing feature for the JabRef/jabref repository, enabling accurate handling of seasonal dates within BibTeX entries. This work introduced a dedicated Season enum and integrated it into the existing Date class, allowing the system to parse, represent, and format seasonal dates according to Biblatex specifications. The implementation included comprehensive unit testing to validate parsing logic, formatting, and edge cases, ensuring robust functionality. Documentation was updated to clarify the new behavior for users, reducing adoption risk. The project utilized Java for backend development, with a focus on BibTeX parsing and thorough unit test coverage.
