During May 2026, contributed to the Mirantis/hmc repository by developing a feature that allows users to toggle ingress deployment for the OpenStack Hosted Control Plane through Helm chart configuration. This work involved leveraging Helm templating and Kubernetes ingress concepts, enabling install-time enablement or disablement of ingress to suit varying deployment needs. The implementation, written in YAML, focused on increasing deployment flexibility and optimizing resource usage for environments where ingress is unnecessary. The feature was delivered in alignment with established release processes, supporting easier customization for customers and streamlining upgrades, while maintaining adherence to cloud infrastructure best practices throughout the development cycle.
