Developed and delivered Composite Report Layouts and the Document Report Experience for the microsoft/BCApps repository, enabling centralized management of report themes and headers or footers within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The solution introduced a four-level hierarchical resolution system, allowing layouts to inherit settings from report, company, or global defaults. Using AL and backend development skills, new configuration tables, UI management pages, and helper codeunits were implemented to support flexible theming and localization. The feature was gated behind an existing key to ensure safe rollout, with comprehensive automated and manual validation confirming additive, non-breaking changes and correct fallback behavior.
