Using Go and cloud services, Vaibhav addressed a resource leak issue by implementing automated cleanup for FHIR and DICOM stores after test execution. This approach leveraged Go’s t.Cleanup() functionality to ensure that resources were released immediately, even if tests failed, which reduced the risk of lingering stores and flaky CI runs. The work enhanced test hygiene and maintainability, directly resolving scenarios identified in issue #1986, and contributed to faster feedback cycles and lower operational risk for the genai-toolbox suite.
