Developed and delivered the Fever API Bulk Article Status Management feature for the FreshRSS/FreshRSS repository, focusing on enhancing efficiency for users managing large sets of articles. The work involved upgrading the Fever API to version 4 and introducing support for bulk operations such as marking articles as read, unread, saved, or unsaved using the with_ids parameter. This backend development effort in PHP emphasized scalable batch processing while maintaining minimal impact on the user interface and experience. The implementation demonstrated clear commit traceability and addressed the need for streamlined workflows, laying a foundation for handling larger workloads without introducing major bugs.
