Worked on the vechain/thor repository to deliver dynamic validator management within the staking system, enabling the addition, removal, and listing of validators with address-aware staking logic. Updated staking and unstaking workflows to integrate validator addresses, supporting robust validator lifecycle management and aligning with governance requirements. Developed a comprehensive test suite to ensure correctness and prevent regressions, maintaining CI stability throughout the process. Utilized Go and Solidity to implement these features, focusing on blockchain development and smart contract integration. The work reduced manual operational overhead, improved staking security, and ensured that all changes were compatible with existing system interfaces and workflows.
