Worked on stabilizing the WebScraper tooling in the griptape-ai/griptape repository, focusing on improving reliability and data quality. Addressed a critical bug in the WebScraperTool by ensuring that the text_chunker override and default max_tokens are properly respected during content processing, which helps prevent incorrect scraping results. Enhanced the testing framework by correcting test resource path resolutions, leading to more reliable test execution and stable continuous integration pipelines. Utilized Python for both tool development and configuration tasks, with an emphasis on robust testing practices. This work contributed to faster validation cycles and reduced the risk of flaky tests in the workflow.
