During December 2024, vboxuser developed a DateTimePicker Precision and Manual Input feature for the usdot-fhwa-stol/connectedvcs-tools repository. This work focused on enhancing the front end by enabling manual entry and granular minute and second selection within date-time input fields. Using JavaScript and front end development skills, vboxuser updated the component’s configuration to support precise time settings, which improved usability and reduced data-entry errors. The feature addressed workflow needs for accurate scheduling and data quality, demonstrating careful attention to UI/UX refinement and configuration-driven development. No major bugs were reported, reflecting a focused and well-managed engineering effort.
