Developed a Smart Caps Lock feature for the pqrs-org/KE-complex_modifications repository, focusing on advanced keyboard customization through configuration management. The solution redefined Caps Lock behavior to act as Escape when pressed alone, function as Control when used with other keys, and retain its original role when combined with Shift. This context-aware logic was implemented in a single JSON commit, streamlining both review and integration into the existing KE framework. The work demonstrated a precise approach to input remapping, leveraging JSON for configuration and emphasizing maintainability. No bug fixes were required, reflecting a focused and well-scoped engineering effort within the project.
