Worked on enhancing the razorpay/blade design system by adding sequential color support to the ChartLine component, bringing its behavior in line with ChartBar for consistent chart customization. Updated type definitions in TypeScript to accept both categorical and sequential color tokens, reducing developer friction and improving maintainability across chart components. Developed comprehensive tests in JavaScript and React to ensure runtime correctness and prevent regressions, with a focus on verifying type safety and color token usage. This work enabled more flexible chart color options for customers and streamlined the developer experience by addressing type-related issues in the front end codebase.
