Developed Hungarian localization and onboarding for the Learn Git Branching repository, enabling hu_HU translations and improving accessibility for Hungarian-speaking users. Implemented full internationalization support by registering the new locale in LocaleStore and translating 104 user interface strings across 34 levels. Added a Hungarian welcome dialog to enhance the onboarding experience. Built supporting translation workflow tooling in JavaScript, including scripts for locale validation and template extraction, and documented the process in TRANSLATING.md. Leveraged React and front end development skills to ensure seamless integration. This work broadened the project’s reach and established a scalable process for future localization efforts.
