Worked on the Shopify/tapioca repository to enhance RBI file management and streamline test workflows using Ruby and Ruby on Rails. Developed features that preserve RBI files when the --only flag is used in the Tapioca DSL, preventing unnecessary file removal and reducing misleading diffs during focused runs. Improved test efficiency by replacing DSL execution with direct file writes for pre-existing RBI files, resulting in faster and more reliable test setups. Addressed purge logic to ensure RBI files from non-target compilers remain intact, which stabilized build processes and improved CI feedback. Focused on CLI development and robust testing throughout the project.
