Viananth developed and optimized Extended Zone benchmarking capabilities for the Azure/telescope repository, focusing on API server performance evaluation in a cloud-native environment. By designing a new test scenario targeting the losangeles extended zone with 10 Virtual Nodes and 100 pods, Viananth expanded test coverage and improved reproducibility. The work involved updating pipeline configurations and Terraform inputs using HCL and YAML, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD workflows. Additionally, Viananth reduced the test cleanup delay from 20 hours to 1 hour, aligning resource lifecycle with pipeline timing. This approach enabled faster, more reliable performance testing and streamlined infrastructure management within Azure environments.
