Vignana Vadloori enhanced the OracleHook component in the potiuk/airflow repository by adding support for wallet-based authentication, SSL, and connection class configurations. Using Python and back end development skills, Vignana implemented provider-level changes that enable secure Oracle database connectivity and flexible deployment options. The update allows Airflow users to leverage wallet files and TLS for improved security, while also simplifying setup for diverse environments. Unit testing was applied to ensure reliability and maintainability of the new features. This work reduced onboarding time and operational overhead for Oracle-based workflows, demonstrating a focused approach to secure, scalable database integration.
