Worked on the ankidroid/Anki-Android repository to address a regression affecting the multimedia attachment user experience. Focused on Android development using Kotlin, the work involved fixing an issue where the multimedia attachment bottom sheet would incorrectly reappear after cancellation, leading to invalid selection states and navigation inconsistencies. The solution removed redundant logic that triggered the bottom sheet, allowing the standard Android back-navigation flow to function as intended. By isolating the fix to a minimal area of the codebase, the update improved code quality and reduced release risk, directly enhancing the stability and usability of multimedia attachments within the application.
