Worked on the lfnovo/open-notebook repository to deliver GPU-enabled deployment support for SurrealDB and Ollama, focusing on improving Docker-Compose workflows and streamlining documentation. The engineering approach included adding a root user for SurrealDB and enabling NVIDIA GPU support for Ollama, which simplified GPU provisioning and reduced configuration drift. Documentation was updated by removing unnecessary environment variables, making GPU enablement more accessible and reducing field errors. By consolidating all GPU-related changes within a single repository, the work improved repeatability and onboarding for GPU-accelerated deployments. Key technologies used included Docker, GPU Computing, and Markdown for technical documentation and workflow alignment.
